Kathleen is proud to have contracted to be the new Town Attorney for Jerome, Arizona. Jerome is a small mountain town in Central Arizona, known for its arts community, ghost-town tourism, and spectacular views. Kathleen lived in Jerome during the 1970s and 80s. The impetus for Kathleen to attend law school in 1986 started with a paper she wrote concerning how to manage growth and change in Jerome. While writing that paper, Kathleen realized how the law is the tool for grounding and applying idealism and vision. Now, all these years later, she finds it gratifying to be entrusted with helping this lovely historic community continue to sculpt and preserve itself. Kathleen maintains her private offices in Tucson and the Verde Valley. Her New York work is conducted via the internet , phone and travel to New York.

During the Spring of 2007, Kathleen Williamson will be joining KEYTLaw, L.L.C in an "of counsel" relationship. She will be handling their cyberlaw, copyrights, and trademarks matters, including ICANN domain name disputes and RIAA defenses.

Kathleen has contributed a chapter in the upcoming 4th Edition of the Musician's Business and Legal Guide (Beverly Hills Bar Association & Jerome Headlands Press 2007). Her chapter is about protecting your copyrights when contracting your services.
